GL Accounting Supervisor
Clarion Corporation of America, a global leader in mobile electronics, is seeking a GL Accounting Supervisor for its corporate headquarters in Cypress, California.
Responsibilities
Assist in monthly financial closePrepare financial statement for the foreign currency DivisionPerform monthly reconciliation of all accounting activitiesAccount balance reconciliation with affiliated companiesCalculate month end translation adjustmentsAnalyze variances due to exchange rate fluctuationAnalyze Actual financial result versus budget and forecast and explain all the variancesPrepare billing information to the affiliated companiesPrepare annual budget and Mid term plan for divisionResolve Accounting or budget related issues with Affiliated CompaniesPrepare audit and consolidation schedulesLiaise with other department and affiliated companies in relation to multi currency transactions Provide support for half year review and year end audit
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in AccountingA minimum of five years of accounting experienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical and organizational skillsExperience with foreign currency and foreign exchange transactions are preferredCPA is a plusExperience with JD Edwards is preferred
