Aerotek Professional Services Location: Hillsboro, OR 97006 Salary: USD 22.00 /hour Position Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance G/L Accountant  Job Description: Our client is seeking a G/L Accountant to join their team.Job Duties/Responsibilities: -Month and quarter end close, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts and validating transactions -Analyze and report monthly financial results for multiple departments/divisions/entities -Analysis of current month results versus prior period and budget -Record and analyze revenue recorded to ensure proper GAAP accounting -Manage multiple priorities and assignments to meet firm deadlines -Assist with other projects and analyses as required -Ensure compliance of financial data with Company policies and internal controlsRequirements: -BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required -Public experience is required -2-4 years experience in General Ledger accounting -Proficiency in MS Office applications -Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills -Professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic with proven ability to work well under pressure -Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlinesPlease send resume and professional references to the e-mail address listed.
