Please indicate on subject line of email the position you are applying for, the office location and include reference # -DKZ165.We are looking for fund accountants for our Harrison, NY (Westchester) location.Responsibilities include:Perform financial reporting and product controller functions for various types of globally-oriented domestic and off-shore hedge funds including:· Reconciling the funds cash to outside sources· Reconciling the funds positions/securities to outside sources· Researching internal differences between the accounting and trade entry systems· Pricing the fund portfolios· Analyzing funds performance on a daily and monthly basis· Issuing profit and loss statements on a daily basis· Responsible for accurate calculation of fund net asset values and investor accounting· Post accounting entries to ledger· Perform Month end close processes/financial statement preparation· Work with various products including equities, bonds, swaps, options, FX, mortgages, financing and futuresCandidates must have the following:· BA in Accounting/Finance/Business or a related discipline· 1-2 years Investment Accounting/Product Controller Experience· Prior experience with mutual and/or hedge funds· Prior experience with various financial products (ie: equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, mortgages, options) and working knowledge of Corporate Actions All applicants MUST be US citizens or lawful permanent residents or have some other authorization that does not require employer-specific sponsorship.
