Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant - call 805-306-0495Description: Volt Accounting & Finance has partnered with a very prestigious CPA firm in Canoga Park, CA in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable among other duties which include posting and reconciling all general ledger accounts through trial balance, prepare journal entries, perform bank reconciliation and account analysis. Will be expected to prepare financial statements with minimal supervision. Prepare payroll tax deposits and returns, sales tax returns, year end W-2s and income tax returns.This is a temp to hire position and only local candidates will be considered. The hours for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.00 to $28.00 an hour. Requirements: To be considered for this position you must have 3 to 5 years experience in Public Accounting. Must be experienced in Accrual Basis Accounting. Must have excellent oral and written communications in English. Must have working knowledge of Lacerte Tax Software, MS Word, MS Excel, and QuickBooks. Experience in QuickBooks/Premier Accountant is a huge plus.
