Fortune 500 company located in Smyrna seeks to hire a new Senior Accountant for their Smyrna Headquarters.Â Company specializes in technology that supports the Pharmaceutical industry and has an open opportunity for a highly skilled and growth motivated individual.Â This opportunity represents a significant challenge for the right individual and the rewards of success represent significant financial gain.

Summary of responsibilities:
*Handle all aspects of the month end close - including reviewing journal entries and accruals.
*Analyzing financial statement fluctuation, prepare variance analysis for month end
*Responsible for all balance sheet reconciliation
*Assist with management of Staff Level Accountants

Requirements:
*Bachelors Degree in ACCOUNTING is required
*Minimum 5 years experience of Monthly Financial Close experience.
*Professional Experience in PUBLICLY TRADED COMPANIES

Preferred:
*Experience working with PeopleSoft
*CPA Track
