Financial jobs USA: Production Associate - Mail (1st shift) 7:30a-4p (Mon-Sat varied day off)

Operates one or more inserting and mailing machines that process mail for delivery to the Post Office. Also operates related pre- and post-processing equipment, including folders, cutters, bursters, metering and other machines. A;so responsible for monitoring the quality of the work processed and adhering to all department quality controls and procedures. May be required to work different shifts and overtime as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Operates mail processing inserting equipment such as BOWE, Bell & Howell, Intel-mail and Phillipsburg.
Operate other processing equipment such as metering machines, bursters, cutters, folders, and meters.
Follow strict operating procedures to maintain productivity and quality control.
Prepare and process meter tickets accurately.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and more than 1 year up to 2 years related experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for long periods during the day.

Ability to work overtime as needed.
