Financial Reporting Analyst - SQL ReportsDescription: Financial Reporting Analyst SQL Reports, Finance, Accounting, Business, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPointThe world's first Video Game Network has a position available for a Financial Reporting Analyst.About the Position:Our Client is building out its Financial Operations (FinOps) Team and is looking for an outstanding candidate to help manage the daily functions of this team.The role will entail working closely with the Ad Operations, Partner Development, Ad Sales, Network Programming, and Accounting departments.The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for: Calculating monthly bills for advertisers. Generating financial statements for publishers that reflect revenue, traffic, and advertiser flights each month. Compiling weekly revenue reports and distributing them to Ad Sales. Performing sell-through rate analysis by monitoring weekly campaign delivery progress. Interfacing daily with internal teams to triage and respond to billing and other FinOps-related ad-hoc requests.Additionally, the Financial Reporting Analyst will act as the main provider of Business Intelligence to clients across the Company: Gathering data using SQL queries of Company databases. Developing and maintaining information for Our Client's knowledge base. Working independently to understand complex business issues and requests, translating them into data requirements and executing against these data requests.About Our Client: The world's first Video Game Network, this New York City-based gaming giant is a subsidiary to a well-known Software Development Manufacturer, headquartered in Redmond, WA, that is committed to helping their customers realize their full potential.This is a one-year MAX contract position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in New York City. Requirements: Required Skills for this Financial Reporting Analyst position include the following: Background in Finance, Accounting, Business and/or closely-related discipline In-depth knowledge of SQL Reporting Services (MS-SQL Server a plus) Proven track-record of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure Strong analytical skills (i.e., ability to relate data set to decision-making) Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong Excel skills (including use of Pivot Tables) Experience in video games, technology, or media a positive, but not requiredPlease no Corp to Corp responses at this time.
