Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
Stanley Security Solutions is an operating division of The Stanley Works Company, a $4 billion dollar, publicly traded, worldwide manufacturer and marketer of pneumatic tools, home and office products. We currently have an opening for a dynamic individual to
join our team as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.
Accountability Objective: Manage, analyze, measure, and drive financial reports, systems and programs to maximize the opportunity and growth of the Company.
Duties:
-Lead the FP&A Function which directly reports to the CFO
-Write/maintain all financial statements and reports used by management
-Detailed Financial Analysis of monthly results, including trends and variances
-Margin component analysis – including details of the effect of price, volume, discounts, etc.
-Consolidation of operating results by regions and market groups
-Perform cost analysis including analysis of manufacturing variances
-Comprehensive one and three year budgets, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
-Month and Quarter forecasts, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
-Strategic planning in collaboration with Operations groups
-Liaise with Corporate FP&A for all finance data requests
-Support systems users, Hyperion, Great Plains and SAP
-Assist the finance group in the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate data transmission to corporate
-Perform value-add projects as required by the CFO
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education:
-Four year business or finance degree required, MBA or CPA a plus but not required
Experience:
-4-6 years of Financial experience with at least 2 years of analyst experience
-Generate solution/recommendations to issues before topics are presented to management
-Prior manufacturing experience a must
-Prior experience with acquisitions, due diligence, and integration of acquisitions helpful
-Prior experience with the above duties preferred

-Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work across all functions
-Prudent risk taker and excellent computer skills
-Proven leadership skills, solid oral and written communicator
-Excellent communication skills
Computer/Typing/Equipment:
-MS Office knowledge required. Advanced Excel preferred.
-Database knowledge helpful
-Software programs: Hyperion, SAP, Great Plains
