Overview/Job Description:
Our client, a financial consulting firm based in Montgomery County, PA is seeking an experienced Financial Planner Associate to join their successful, growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking a future!!!
Requirements:BS in Finance/Accounting preferred CFP certification or planning to pursue CFP certification 5 years of performing the administrative responsibilities assisting with the financial planning process in a financial consulting firm or financial services/investment firm Knowledge of brokerage firm financial planning software a plus Strong investment knowledge and familiarity with wealth management and asset allocations Knowledge of retirement planning investment products and research Broad investment knowledge/broker-dealer experience a plus - equities, bonds, annuities, 401K's, pension plans etc... Income tax knowledge and experience a plus
Responsibilities:Coordinate administrative needs/gather required information to assist high net worth clients on setting up financial plans Place investment orders with external brokerage firm Assist firm principals with portfolio management of client investments Assist with asset management and asset allocations Research on investment planning, financial products and tax research
