Financial Performance Specialist

Role summaryThe Senior Financial Performance Specialist will provide the Service Center Controller and VCI senior managers with accurate and detailed financial information relating to Service Center and Information Technology budgetary and performance issues with the goal of improving Service Center financial performance.  This position will be responsible for leading the annual budget and planning round processes, including publishing key assumptions, budget timetables and planning worksheets; working with business units to critically review submissions in light of Corporate and Service Center directions; defining performance analytics and managing monthly variance reporting and analysis process.  In addition, the Senior Financial Performance Specialist will define and implement procedures and publish reports to enhance CEP control, promote appropriate project accounting, meet SOP-98 objectives, forecast depreciation costs, and manage the financial aspect of IT leasing activities.   This position is also expected to identify critical issues, recognize trends, make recommendations, fulfill fiduciary role and provide guidance and counsel to members of the organization. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels is critical to this role. This position will be called upon to understand the competitive landscape, develop and implement meaningful methods of financial analysis and be responsible for understanding and analyzing the impact of individual decisions on the overall business (micro vs. macro). The Senior Financial Performance Specialist will coordinate with other finance and accounting resources to provide meaningful fact-based analysis and reports to drive efficient and effective decision-making. Years of experience· Minimum of 6-8 years of financial analysis experience, including financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting.· Three or more years of budgetary experience· Experienced background with qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.· Experience working with performance management tools· Experience in strategic thinking with strong abilities in relationship management· Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to complex business problems· Demonstrated exceptional written, presentation and communications skills.· Experience with software accounting/policies required (SOP 98)· Previous financial services experience ideal, but not required· A motivated self-starter requiring little supervision· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment · Must interface with all levels of the organization· Financial Services industry experience a plusEducationRequiredDesiredBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or AccountingMBA, CPA strongly preferred To apply go to: https://www1.recruitingcenter.net/Clients/VW_Audi/PublicJobs/Intranet/controller.cfm?jbaction=JobProfile&Job_Id=12162&esid=az
