Position Overview

 

A Titus consultant is a highly-skilled, experienced professional who performs work on client engagements, primarily at the client’s site. Our consultants represent Titus to clients as they work in a team environment with other Titus professionals and/or the client’s internal staff. Our consultants sometimes work on one or more engagements simultaneously (or concurrently) while one engagement winds down and another begins. We expect every Titus consultant to deliver predictable, consistent and reliable service, and to develop innovative or creative solutions to clients’ challenges where possible and appropriate.

 

While our consultants are primarily responsible for delivering superior client services, we are looking for individuals who also want to contribute to the growth and challenge of building a successful company that is the leader in its industry.

 

We hire Accounting Consultants with the skills and experience to work on the following types of engagements:

 

Ø       Knowledge of financial derivative contracts, with knowledge of energy derivatives preferred

Ø       Knowledge of hedge accounting under FAS 133, with FAS 157 knowledge preferred

Ø       Knowledge of financial cash flow valuation models in Excel, with advance Excel skills preferred

Ø       CPA preferred

Ø       Knowledge of energy industry preferred, with wind power plants and natural gas power plants a plus

Ø       Strong oral and written communications, with engagement management skills preferred

Ø       Prior consulting experience with strong client relationship management skills

Success Factors

 

Successful Titus consultants have the following experience, education and personal characteristics:

 

Ø       Bachelor’s degree; professional certifications and/or advanced degree a plus

Ø       Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in large companies or public accounting

Ø       Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ø       A professional demeanor

Ø       A passion for client service

Ø       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ø       Flexibility

Ø       The highest level of integrity

Ø       A positive attitude and strong work ethic
