Financial Controller

Industry leader in the telecommunications industry currently seeks a high level Financial Controller for their North American Operations to assist the CFO with the financial affairs of the organization. Strong management and delegation skills, required. Must have initiative and ambition to offer solutions to problems, and have motivational skills to think quickly without specific instructions to ensure that daily goals are achieved.Responsibilities: Providing annual, monthly and daily financial data, reports and analysis. Drives the month end and annual year end closing process. Manages A/R, A/P, Payroll and the entire accounting system. Prepares individual division and consolidated financial reports under IFRS rules. Manages the external audit process for annual audits and six month reviews. Directly manages a staff of seven. Reports to the CFO.Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting with a Masters Degree in a Financial Field. CPA certification required. Strong computer skills with a hands-on style. Critical thinking, pro active attitude,very detail oriented, strong writing and oral communication skills. At least six years experience as a controller or financial manager.
