Oracle Financial Applications Mgr Corporate- ConshohockenThis position reports to: Dir-Oracle Apps & Bs Sys-US
Project teams comprised of the IT group, personnel from other company areas, consultants, and vendors.Responsible for identification and implementation/ improvements to company system applications,special focus on the Oracle financial systems. Understands enterprise-wide financial data andreporting requirements. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; widedegree of creativity and latitude is expected.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESApplication controls Develops and implements procedures to ensure controls over access to and accuracy of data in corporate financial systems. Ensures that testing of all system components is adequate. User Support Provides user support for Oracle applications and other financial applications. This role includes determining optimal application setup, resolving questions and issues, assisting in error correction, performing reconciliations of data in subsystems, and identifying uses of the the applications to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Project Management Participates in projects as representative of finacial users. Defines application setup. Resolves business process and procedural issues. Develops time lines and monitors schedules and resources. Communications Communicates with financial users in all company locations to understand financial processes, to identify areas for improvement, and to implement improvements. Serves as a user advocate for system support. Documenation and training Ensures that documentation and training provide necessary levels of controls over system setup, data quality and user efficiency.
