PPC operations also include Paramount Digital Entertainment, Paramount Home Entertainment, Paramount Pictures International, Paramount Licensing Inc., Paramount Studios and Worldwide Television Distribution.Description:Prepare Development Cost Report*Report on scenario commitments, expenditures to date, forecasted payments remaining (create revised full year forecast each report); compare to budget and prior forecast then identify and explain variances.*On an as-needed basis, update list of total commitments and total expenditures on all development projects established.*Reconcile development report to G/L.Review/Maintain Development Cost System (DCS)*Audit weekly scenario reports for accuracy of charges to DCS.*(Review all IHC?s and contracts to verify commitments are properly set up in DCS.*Review ATL payments to verify that commitments are properly relieved in DCS*Update status of each project by conferring with Attorneys, Business Affairs and Creative Executives regarding satisfaction of contractual requirements, active or abandoned status and settlement/withdrawal notices.*Monitor outstanding costs charged to abandoned scenarios by opening and closing scenarios as needed.*Set up new charge numbers for Development and Production.*Prepare journal entries to transfer development projects to production and reclass charges that were miscoded, etc.*Research and clear suspense items hitting the Development Cost System.Review and process invoices*Review invoices relating to scenarios, production, and overhead*Maintain log of legal fees paid by project*Contact vendor to resolve any discrepancies or questions regarding invoices.*Code expenses to the proper project and account.*Obtain approval from the appropriate Executives.Contract Payment Administration*Prepare and administer development payments tracking prior payments and PH&W paid*Review contracts to determine correct amounts payable and that we have properly established the commitment*Obtain appropriate start paperwork and set-up employee or vendor in the system*Prepare check requisitions or payroll request and obtain the appropriate Business Affairs, Creative Affairs and Financial approvals.Competitive Tracking and Forecasting*Track and Research Made for DVD release schedules and performance.*Maintain a competitive tracking log of performance results*Assist in preparation of Development Budget and Long Range Plan.Special projects as requested.*Assist in financial modeling for Greenlight or What-if projections *Assist in maintaining and updating ultimates and actual information in the income projection and amortization model used for projecting in- year and long-range revenue recognition and related film amortization.
