Financial Analyst II

Reperio, Inc., a Boston area search firm, is currently conducting a search for one of its Ann Arbor, Michigan based clients (non automotive).  Our client is an established, multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 company.  Our client is seeking an individual to join their organization as a Financial Analyst II.

 

Description:

 Costing Model Analysis, maintenance oversight, system performance improvements Forecasting, Planning and Budgeting Recognition of financial improvement opportunities primarily analyzing external variables (External Analysis)

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Customer Profitability Profitability Analysis Drive system enhancements Provide oversight on costing reports Development, maintenance and updating of the Planning and Budgeting Models Develop / provide revenue enhancement, cost savings and profit improvement initiatives Competition benchmarking Markets analysis

 

Desired Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (strongly preferred) in Finance, Accounting or related quantitative /financial discipline, preferably from a top-tier academic institution.  CPA / CFA license also highly desirable. High level of analytical skills Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Access and other analytical tools Detail oriented, highly motivated with strong work ethic Desired expertise in costing, forecasting and planning models Ability to provide insightful analytics to executive management Ability to assimilate broad source of data into planning models Ability to identify variances and unusual trends
