Financial Analyst I
OSRAM SYLVANIA is the North American business of OSRAM GmbH of Germany, one of the world's largest lighting manufacturers and part of the Siemens family of companies. OSRAM SYLVANIA has 22 manufacturing plants, one equipment assembly operation and twelve research and development laboratories, along with a network of sales offices and distribution centers serving all of the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Most of the company's products are marketed in North and South America under the SYLVANIA or OSRAM brand name.
This position will play a key role in the overall support for our billing group. Successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
- Invoicing and accounts receivable management of assigned key customers.
- Customer related financial analysis and dispute resolution.
- Aassistance with customer service requirements including information system updates, pricing discrepancy resolution and ad hoc projects as required.
- Contract interpretation for order reviews before invoicing.
This position will require active participation as a member of the core support team of key customers from a financial perspective.

Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management both in-house and in the field.
Ability to achieve critical deadlines as dictated by customer and financial calendar.
Must act as a team player and provide support to co-workers.
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Business Administration.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Must be comfortable with a detail-oriented position and possess the initiative and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to independently follow up and resolve issues timely and accurately.
