Financial Analyst - FX/EMST Product Control Utility (buffalofinance)

The Finance Division is broken down into Treasury, Tax, Controllers, and Strategy & and Planning.   The Financial Control Division is responsible for a variety of activities related to the Firm's financial reporting and controls. The division is divided into different areas of specialization where each group features a unique set of responsibilities that include both analytical and accounting roles. Currently, our FX Trading business is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the team.     Departmental Responsibilities Include: Daily P&L Calculation, External Manager Reporting and Reconciliations Interco Trade Reconciliation and Investigation (GIRS) Monthly P&L Tie Outs FO to BO Recon’s GMR Recon’s Error Reporting PV for EMST Process Improvements Technology Projects Business Initiatives  The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in Finance or Accounting but a degree in other fields is acceptable as long as the candidate has decided that this is the field they want to pursue.  Strong PC skills are required, especially in Excel.  The individual must also have good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
