Job DescriptionDepartment - FinanceRole - Payroll/HR Assistant Synopsis
The Payroll Associate will coordinate and process Transparent Language’s payroll and other Human Resource administrative tasks. This is a hands-on position involving the processing of sensitive personnel information and company confidential data. Expected Qualifications
· 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll and/or human resource administration

· Process and submit payroll biweekly via ADP; review payroll reports for accuracy.
· Liaise with benefits brokers/providers to coordinate renewals and resolve issues.
· Review insurance bills for accuracy.
· Submit FSA remittances.
· Address employee questions and concerns regarding payroll and benefits.
· Prepare offer letters.
· Perform new employee orientation.
· Review and distribute year end W-2’s.
· Calculate monthly sales commissions.
· Keep abreast of Federal and State employment laws that impact the Company.
· Review annual Form 5500 and periodic testing from ADP; oversee 401(k) plan.
· Prepare EEO-1 and VETS-100 annual reporting for review by Accounting/HR Manager; set up and maintain resume tracking for EEO-1 reporting
· Maintain ADP ReportSmith system for tracking employee information.
· Update NetSuite with new hire information.
· Prepare other reports as requested, including Federal/NH census surveys, salary surveys, payroll analysis, etc.
· Participate as a member of the Company’s Safety Committee.
· Maintain personnel files.
· Maintain corporate organizational chart.
· Coordinate employee functions.
· Other tasks at or below this job grade, as required.
Hours – 15-20/week. Payroll Mondays required. Mothers’ hours encouraged.
