Finance Manager - Internal Control
Our client, a large, publicly traded manufacturing company with over $10B in sales, is looking to add an Internal Control Finance Manager to their team. This person will ensure compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley activities and will interact heavily with Internal and External Auditors as well as Plant Controllers and Operations team members.
The Internal Control Finance Manager will also be responsible for the following:Developing, leading and executing SOX plans for the entire groupAssisting in the development and training of Finance team membersRefining the compliance program and creating a controls scorecardIdentifying and defining key success measures for a strong internal controls environmentParticipating in a variety of special projects
The Internal Control Finance Manager must possess the following minimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, coupled with a CPA and/or MBA4 - 6 years of internal audit, public accounting, financial analysis and/or operational accounting experience, gained in a large manufacturing setting or public accounting firmAbility to successfully identify areas of improvement related to Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controlsExperience managing multiple locations is preferred
This position will allow the right individual to be exposed to many parts of this large international organization. There is much room for advancement to roles within Finance, Operations or Internal Controls.
