Experienced Commercial Construction Bookkeeper

Excalibur Group LLC is a fast growing specialty medical construction company. We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper with extensive experience in the construction industry. This person must work well in a fast paced and demanding environment.

Requirements:
10+ experience as a bookkeeper/accountant in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Pro – Contractor Version
Proficiency with Microsoft office
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
Ability to work well with others
Solid knowledge of Accounting Principles and GAAP

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accounts Payable - weekly approval of bills, expenses, reporting of accounts payable to office manager
Maintaining Accounts Receivable – preparation of bids, coordination of sales orders, AIA’s (G703/G702) Billing
Preparation of Payroll time sheets for outsourced companies
Closing End duties and related journal entries.
Sales Tax reporting
Job Costing Reports
Cash flow management
Vendor relations & Subcontractor relations
Customer relations
Maintain internal audit controls
Credit card, LOC & Bank reconciliations
Liaison between accountant and company officer
Inventory controls & purchasing of goods through Purchase Orders
Scenario based budgeting

Compensation:
$45,000-$55,000 per year with 3-6 month review.
