Executive Director
The Capital Tax Collection Bureau (CAPTAX) is seeking a new Executive Director (ED) with strong leadership and management skills, financial, accounting or business background, and the demonstrated ability to work with a strong and large board of directors. The new ED of CAPTAX must have the skills, vision and determination to lead this diverse membership organization in its stated mission of “providing our member municipalities and school districts with efficient, accurate, and responsive tax collection services in a timely and cost effective manner.”
CAPTAX is a 40 year-old not-for-profit organization of more than 70 municipalities and school districts in central Pennsylvania that have joined resources to collect taxes due from the public and properly distribute them to its members. To accomplish this task, CAPTAX has a staff of about 45 employees in three local divisions (Harrisburg, Carlisle, and Central Dauphin located in Lower Paxton Township
