Large CPA firm in Essex County is hiring an executive administrative assistant.
Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to an executive Partner.Complete and submit time and expense reports.Download and print internal accounting reports.Plan local meetings and conference calls.Maintain electronic calendars and schedule meetings.Organize and maintain filing systems and distribution lists.Get to know key clients and their administrative assistants in an effort to foster excellent customer relations.Coordinate travel arrangements.Provide word processing and document preparation including PowerPoint presentations.Anticipate the needs of the management team and volunteer for projects.Relieve Partners of various administrative duties.Compose correspondence.Initiate engagement letters.Provide back-up to other practice Administrative Assistants.Prepare internal documents for client engagement acceptance.
Qualifications: Five years of full-time, stable, permanent experience as an administrative assistant (no clerical assistants or job hoppers will be considered).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).Typing speed of 60 words per minute.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to compose correspondence.Available for overtime, as needed. Ability to handle high volumes of work. Able to anticipate the needs of the team.
