This position reports to the Controller and supervises 2 Accountants, and interfaces heavily with various aspects of the business, both locally and internationally. This is a challenging and rewarding role that combines hands-on work with management responsibility. This individual will be responsible for producing quarterly consolidated financial statements and producing other executive-level financial reports, as well as overseeing the global accounting process for the organization. Additional responsibilities include managing the external audit relationship and process, overseeing the domestic balance sheet accounts, SOX compliance, technical accounting research, special projects, and staff review. Qualifications include at least 5 years of related experience, including strong GL accounting experience and preferably Big 4 tenure. CPA is strongly preferred, as well as supervisory experience. Other desirable qualifications are international accounting experience, SOX 404 knowledge, and proficiency with Oracle.
