JOB SUMMARY
Leads and manages the district by establishing and maintaining offices, hiring, training and evaluating district associates. Ensures that policies and procedures are implemented and followed in each supervised office to increase revenues, control expenses and promote client satisfaction through a consistent positive experience.
JOB DUTIES
· Lead the operation and management of the district to ensure successful implementation of Company policy and procedures across assigned tax offices. Develop, recommend and implement strategy to increase revenue and maximize profit.
· Develop, implement and monitor strategy to increase client satisfaction with the goal to increase the probability of clients returning next year.
· Recruit, interview, hire, train, mentor and supervise seasonal and off- season associates within the district. Responsible for associate acquisition and retention through creative and prescribed methods.
· Utilize Local Advertising Programs as well as Public Relations activities to promote TTS classes and upper level training activities to provide continuing developmental opportunity for Tax Professionals. Recruit and assign instructors to ensure effective training coverage. Fill in as an instructor if needed.
· Responsible for scheduling and monitoring labor, overrides, office shut-down, invoice approval, associate awards events and meetings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Three to five years of business experience to include strategic development, budgeting and people management
· Effective management of field personnel to include a working knowledge of organizational planning techniques including the development of goals and objectives, staffing, and work standards
· Strong customer relationship skills with the desire and proven ability to work in a diverse work setting
· Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills that apply to all levels of the organization
· Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects and work initiatives while meeting deadlines
· Proven analytical and problem solving skills
· Willingness to work irregular schedules
· Understanding and previous use of a Windows-based computer system.
· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Ability to navigate on the Internet
· Three to five years management experience
