Play a key role in our future success:Canteen Vending Services, the world's largest vending company and a division of Compass Group, has a career opportunity available for a qualified accounting management professional.  Play a key role in our future success: Job DescriptionResponsible for all accounting and Ivend activity within the District Branch.  Recipe to Succeed:   Reconciling and maintaining all balance sheet accounts Ensure financial statements are prepared in a timely and accurate manner (monthly close) Ensures accounting conforms to generally accepted accounting principles. Oversees all accounting functions including, A/P, A/R, Payroll, General Ledger, Collections, etc. Maintains controls for all District cash, inventories and assets Lends financial perspective to business issues facing District operation Analyzes financial statements for areas of profit improvement, recommends action Ensures data provided to the regional and corporate offices is accurate and timely Provides annual budget with input from District operations Provides quarterly forecasts Maintains internal controls within District operation Interacts with internal and external auditors Evaluates new business proposals Optimizes working capital and equipment capital Necessary Ingredients:   Bachelor’s degree (Business: Accounting, Finance, Management, etc), MBA/CPA preferred Working knowledge of Excel, Lotus, Microsoft Outlook, SAP 2-4 years accounting management experience Ability to track and measure financial data and communicate information up and downGreat People.
