Position Summary Perform a variety of accounting and clerical duties in Hebrew Rehabilitation Center’s Fiscal Services Department, including accounts payable (AP) check preparation and mailing and upkeep of files for Center and Dedham accounts, and payroll preparation and processing assistance. II. Position Accountabilities Open and sort AP mail daily. Match supporting documentation to AP checks. Mail AP checks weekly (approximately 125-150 per week). File on a weekly basis vouchered AP invoices and check requests as back up and support for check issuance. Monitor invoices for proper coding and approval. Perform data entry of invoices and credits into both Meditech and Timberline AP systems. Communicate with vendors and staff regarding payments. Track and resolve discrepancies on vendor statements. Monitor time sheets from departments for totals and approvals Enter payroll time sheets into ADP system (bi-weekly). Learn running of Ivantage to ADP and Kronos to ADP interfaces, including processing, editing, and posting. Assist with payroll reconciliation using spreadsheet analysis Prepare payroll for distribution to departments including checks, vouchers, and reports. Demonstrate proficiency in using personal computer, including knowledge and skill in the use of the Windows operating system and pertinent software applications such as: Spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel) Word Processing (Microsoft Word) Meditech Timberline ADP PC Payroll for Windows Kronos TimeKeeper Central Assist with telephone coverage and mail delivery for department as needed. Perform other related duties as required or as directed by the Disbursements Manager. III. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in using a personal computer, including knowledge and skill in the use of the Windows operating system and pertinent software applications. One to two years of related experience.
