MediaPower has matured into a consumer products company with a focus on selling directly to consumers through multiple channels such as Radio, Television, Print, Catalog, and Internet. Currently, we are seeking a Director of Operations Finance/IT to play a key role in seeking out opportunities that provide sustainable long term revenue strategies for our company utilizing our unique product mix and value proposition. The Director of Operations will play a key role in introducing new and creative challenges  while being able to manage a team of talented professionals to help take a thriving, entrepreneurial company to the next stage of its development.     This position requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability and inclination to react quickly to changing needs in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, dynamic environment. Job RequirementsDirect the strategic and tactical financial and IT activities to support an inbound/outbound call center. Responsible for site financials up to and including budgets, forecasting, and monthly P&L. Directs organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to functional strategic thinking and direction. Reviews operating reports and data base systems and directs the resolution of operational, technical and financial problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Organizes, supervises and directs the work of subordinate managers who supervise employees in their respective areas (IT, Finance). Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives. Align processes with capabilities of new systems. Works with other department managers to assist with technical interface between the company and outside partners to ensure technical issues such as network outages, and connectivity/phone systems/server issues are resolved in a timely manner. Demonstrates initiative and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Meets with clients, representatives of other companies, vendors, and subcontract agencies to present views, or discuss contract changes. Recommends and sets departmental goals and objectives, deploying company resources to accomplish. Participate in strategic and operational planning and development of annual operating budgets for the business. Provide Management with accurate and timely reports on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis including financial performance. Interact with regulatory agencies and maintain knowledge of applicable regulations, standards and compliance issues. Align with and support other management staff functions in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term plans to meet business objectives. Manages vendor accounts for maximum profitability and quality assurance. Work with department managers to maintain relationships with brokers, property managers and landlords. Must possess excellent written and oral communications and presentation skills, as well as excellent interpersonal, creative and analytical skills. Be one of several points of contact for all emergency situations. Manages operational and capital budgets Excellent organizational and planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Requirements Bachelors Degree required. 5-10 years management and leadership experience Proficient at using Problem Solving tools, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
