Growing and dynamic Central Massachusetts based design and engineering consulting firm is searching for a Director of Global Financial Operations looking for the opportunity to work in a face-paced company.

 SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the President, the Director of Global Financial Operations will provide financial leadership and help the company to continue its global and domestic expansion through joint ventures and acquisitions.  An ambitious and aggressive candidate who maintains a high sense of urgency and possesses an assertive operating style.  This individual should be a creative strategic thinker with astute business acumen, strong work ethic and a capacity for complex situations. 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assisting President with joint ventures and acquisitions including partnership structure, legal agreements, facility set-up, capital financing.

· Leading the accounting and finance functions for all global and domestic locations including month-end close, year-end audit, corporate taxes, financial statement preparation, payroll, general ledger management, etc.

· Leading and mentoring of accounting and administrative staff.

· Development and tracking of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.

· Creating and monitoring key financial metrics and analysis along with preparing and presenting quarterly financial packages to management and the Board of Directors.

· Creating, implementing and enforcing internal policies and procedures.

· Manage all Human Resources related functions.

 QUALIFICATIONS

· 8 to 10 years of relative experience

· BS in accounting or finance (MBA preferred)

· Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

· Prior managerial experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint

· Experience with automated accounting systems  (implementations/upgrades preferred)

· Executive presence with outstanding presentation and negotiation skills and the ability to make things happen
