Director of External Reporting

Job Category:  AAccounting/Finance/Insurance Type:  Full Time, Employee Minimum Education:  Bachelor's Degree Director of External Reporting DIRECTOR FINANCIAL REPORTING·  Publicly-listed NYSE, international manufacturer for the consumer products and pharmaceutical industries, who is listed in the Top 50 Companies in Chicago and Fortune 1000. ·  In order to support our continued worldwide growth, we have an exceptional opportunity in our Corporate Finance Department for an experienced Financial Reporting professional.  THE POSITION: ·  Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for the worldwide consolidation of financial results and annual budgets. ·  In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation and filing of all external reports with the SEC, such as the Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q, Annual Report Form 10K, and 8K filing, as well as government filings for all employee benefit plans. ·  Internally, you will prepare periodic reports for senior management and Board of Directors.  THE QUALIFICATIONS: ·  We seek a hands-on, results oriented Director Financial Reporting, who is a team player, and who possesses outstanding technical, superior communication, and excellent interpersonal skills. ·  In addition, to qualify, you must have 5+ years experience working in a financial reporting department in a publicly held company; at least 3 years experience in public accounting; and possess a CPA, or MA in Accounting. ·  Previous successful working experience in a cross-cultural environment, foreign language skills, ·  Experience with Hyperion Enterprise/HFM is highly desirable. ·  Finally, this position requires approximately 30% overnight travel. Contact UsManagement Recruiters of Elgin, Inc. 472 N.
