Corporate Tax Director

Houston-based manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Tax in its Corporate Headquarters located in Houston, TX.  This position will be in the Galleria area.

Qualifications:
Successful applicant will oversee and participate in the day-to-day operations of company's tax function. Full cycle statutory and federal tax exposure at a senior level is required.

Full and complete understanding of:

- Property Tax
- Sales and Use Taxation
- Income Tax

-FAS 109

Successful applicant will possess (and maintain currency of) their CPA
Successful applicant will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and preferably a master’s degree in accounting.

Public Accounting (Big 4 of Large recognizable regional firm)

10-12 years of experience preferred

Very Hands On experience

Eager & Energetic individual

Able to work without much supervision
