Director, Of Internal Reporting & Accounting

Job Category:  AAccounting/Finance/Insurance Type:  Full Time, Employee Minimum Education:  Bachelor's Degree  GLOBAL DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL REPORTING & ACCOUNTING Summary:Support the transformation of Finance to a more value adding organization. Maintains and develops the general accounting ledger across North America and Europe including associated management reporting, non-US statutory reporting and tax compliance plus support US GAAP statutory reporting and tax compliance. Also directs the execution of Treasury and cash management operations through the in-house bankResponsibilities: Lead inter-company centre of excellence across the North Atlantic region. Manage over 100 staff and relationships with outsource partners for processes.Maintenance and development of the accounting process within an SAP environment. Provide mergers and acquisitions and other financial change management as appropriate. Maintain internal control environment and team of control specialists supporting all business lines.Lead fixed asset accounting and financial support group, support global cash management and tax planning.Lead in-house bank, responsible for basic cash disbursements and receipts in addition to executing Treasury policy. Provide non US tax, statutory and other regulatory reports provide sundry US tax, statutory and regulatory document files.Drive accurate, timely and relevant information plus cost efficiency through the elimination, automation and standardization of process. Develops, directs, plans and evaluates financial plans and policies in budget analysis, treasury operations, and corporate planning or risk management. Experience Degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA, CMA with 10+ years experience working in a financial management - (MBA preferred)2+ years operating at Director Level with experience of change management and outsourced operations is crutial. 40-45% travel including international.Strong working knowledge of SAP, previous shared service centre experience as well as internationally experience from both financial and human capital management is highly desirable. RELOCATION:Because this position is critical to the organization and because we offer a very solid relocation package, qualified audit professionals willing to relocate are strongly encouraged to apply. Contact UsManagement Recruiters of Elgin, Inc. 472 N.
