Director, Investment Analysis

Director, Investment Analysis-ATL001180 Our client is currently seeking a Director, Investment Analysis to lead financial analysis feasibility, financial and investment analysis for individual and large-scale hotel development opportunities including franchise, management contract, joint-venture, and portfolio acquisition transactions. Perform analysis for work outs, asset disposals, and complex single asset or portfolio deals. Provide guidance to senior executives on structuring deals to maximize returns and comply with company investment policy.  Manage and direct staff to effectively complete projects within specified time frames.  Participate with senior management in client negotiations, as appropriate. Position will report to the Vice President of Americas Investment Analysis and provide on-going project updates to SVP Americas Finance. The position direclty supports the SVP of Global Corporate Finance Band 5Salary range:  $121,000- $150,000Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Hospitality Administration or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. MBA preferred. 10+ years work experience in hotel development or real estate development and acquisitions, with demonstrated proficiency in underwriting and financial modeling techniques.Technical Skills and Knowledge - Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors and senior management. Demonstrated ability to present a persuasive argument to senior-level managers, and to challenge and influence others. Demonstratedin-depth knowledge of financial principles and real estate valuation techniques.
