Job Summary:
The Director, Human Resources Administration (Director) is a highly visible hands-on position responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure of the Human Resources (HR) administrative function. Responsibilities include employee relations, Human Resources Information System (HRIS) metrics and reporting, performance management, compliance, benefits, compensation, policies and procedures, mergers and acquisitions, immigration, and employee communications. This position works closely at a peer level with Recruiting, Training, Operations Support (Facilities), Information Technology, Legal, and Payroll functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the coordination and delivery of new employee on-boarding, orientation, and other employee-related programs for new and acquired employees.Oversees the management of employee relations and grievance issues including investigation, documentation, and resolution. Works directly with Managers as needed to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.Oversees the Firms overall compensation structure, including salary research, analysis, incentives, relocation, and recommendations to ensure market competitiveness within geographical regions. Oversees the collaboration with Managers and Practice Leaders to develop accurate, consistent, meaningful, and compliant job descriptions. Ensures the HRIS system is configured and structured to effectively support rapid growth, expansion, and reporting while ensuring data integrity is consistently maintained.Manages the creation, maintenance, and organization of the Firms online and printed policies and related documents.Ensures that HR-related content on our Firms intranet and external websites are current, relevant, accurate, and meaningful.Oversees benefits administration, including the coordination and execution of annual plan renewals, daily administration, compliance, reporting, plan documents, development of specifications for new benefit plans or modifications to existing plans to maintain Firms competitive position in the market, and to obtain uniform benefit packages for all Firm locations, where possible.Oversees the Firms Raise and Promotion process, including the maintenance of the online performance appraisals and compensation recommendation systems.Ensures the Firm complies with all HR federal and state-specific requirements, including but not limited to reporting, unemployment, FLSA, HIPAA, ADA, COBRA, Title VII, and postings.Oversees immigration and the coordination of H-1B Visas for employees who require sponsorship.Oversees the creation and maintenance of HR-related metrics and management reports utilized to provide meaningful, actionable dashboard data to executive management.Responsible for creating standardized and professional approach to providing employees with communication that includes need-to-know and nice-to-know information about HR-related benefits and issues.Oversees the maintenance of HR-related content on the Firms data-site. Responsible for ensuring that compliant employee files are set up, maintained, and secured correctly and timely.Establishes and maintains appropriate vendor relationships.Responsible for selection, evaluation, and supervision of direct reports.Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field with at least seven to 10 years prior human resources management experience in a multistate or international firm environment. Global experience and merger and acquisiton experience a plus.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, HRIS, web-based HR applications, Outlook, and Internet.
Certificates and Licenses:
PHR certification required; SPHR certification preferred. Valid drivers license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the HR Administration department, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firms policies and applicable laws.
Work Environment:
· Independent travel requirement: 10 to 20%.
