Job Description:

The Director FP&A is responsible for developing and communicating independent and unbiased financial analyses of our business. This includes driving financial processes that ensure compliance and consistency with our corporate goals. You will need to research issues proactively, report findings, and suggest alternative courses of action.

This is a visible and senior position -- responsible for the leading the organization through the financial long range, annual budgeting and monthly forecast processes. You must be a self-motivated individual contributor that can lead a team of direct reports or adjunct staff, and understand that your role is critical to our success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop extensive analytical and financial models; mentor others in the development of same.

· Identify financial issues and recommend corrective courses of action.

· Direct the organization through the annual financial planning process.

· Participate and/or lead cross-departmental projects and analyses.

· Represent Finance issues and concerns as a senior leader.  Communicate and present comfortably to all levels -- presenting research and analysis findings to all levels of management including the CEO, CFO, and Vice Presidents.

Skills:

· MBA or Masters Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.

· Project management skills, including managing multiple projects at once.

· Prefer at least 8 years of experience in progressive financial analysis positions where project management and analytical skills were regularly used to interpret financial information and help resolve strategic and operational issues.

· Candidates must have extensive working knowledge of Excel and other Office programs and familiarity with data warehouse concepts and query tools.

· Direct experience in a consumer products organization is a plus.
