Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Serving multiple industries, Parker & Lynch provides the knowledge, expertise and responsiveness necessary to build and maintain enduring relationships with our clients and candidates.   This position is a leadership position in the corporate finance team responsible for designing, implementing and driving the annual budget process and monthly forecast cycle across the enterprise. Responsibilities included: • Design, implement and manage the enterprise budgeting process resulting in the preparation of a detailed operating budget including development and distribution of all requited tools, development of underlying budget assumptions, and coordination of all activities throughout the organization. • Direct the preparation of accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts. Own the enterprise forecast system and models. Ensure alignment of assumptions for forecasting and analysis throughout the organization. • Compare actual results to historical results, budgets, and forecasts, and prepare and report meaningful variance analysis. Perform in-depth financial and operational analysis to determine business reasons and key business drivers impacting results. • Provide decision making support and improve the financial/accounting expertise throughout the organization. • Perform business and financial analysis of significant capital projects to ensure proper cost/benefit relationship. Provide support to management to improve cash flow and return on investment. • Conduct ad-hoc planning and analysis to support the department and senior management. Candidate Specifications • Should have 5-10 years of relevant Ops Finance of FP&A experience. 2-3 years of public accounting a plus. • CPA or Masters Degree (MACC or MBA) required • Knowledge of GAAP and all aspects of general accounting.
