Summary

This position reports to the CFO of the Sharp Metropolitan Medical Campus (SMMC) and provides financial and strategic leadership for the hospitals and integrated medical campus; and establishes and implements financial policies, plans and goals in support of SMMC's strategic directions.  Responsible for budget process for campus, month and year-end close, business forecasting, and counsel to management on financial matters.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a closely related field.CPA and/or MBA are highly preferred.Minimum five years of demonstrated, progressively responsible healthcare financial and management experience in a competitive market required.Strong teamwork, interpersonal relations, communication, negotiation and analytical skills are required.A visionary thinker with the ability to strategize and successfully implement strategic initiatives and plans required.Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and handle multifaceted projects in conjunction with day to day activities required.
