Direct Hire Payroll Position

Established mid-town financial company is looking for a payroll coordinator for a direct hire opportunity.  This financial company has 200+ employees.  Salary up to $55K DOE.  To apply for this position email mwaller@forrestsolutions.com with payroll in the subject line.

Primary Responsibilities:

 Responsible for all activities necessary to process and maintain a multi-state, semi month payroll, including several additional bonus runs during the year.Validating and update payroll for paid overtimeEntering new hires, terminations and other appropriate staff changesReviewing, verifying and filing tax reports as neededRecording paid time off and leaves of absence, as neededCalculate deductions for group health, life and other welfare benefits401k deductions and vendor interfaceIssues payroll funding wires for review and approvalProblem solving, refers unusual problems to Head of HR and/or Head of FinanceReconciles benefits withholdings against vendor billsHeadcount reportingMaintains spreadsheets, databases and other documents to ensure effectiveness within HR.  Perform data retrieval and/or preparation of reports for analysisCommunicates effectively with employees and other HR Staff
