POSITION SUMMARY:



This position is responsible for providing high-quality service to attorneys and other staff, primarily inputting data in a timely manner and completing any special projects as requested.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Data entry of client and/or attorney expenses (disbursements).Assist with distribution of month Detailed Billing Reports (DBRs) for the Pittsburgh offices.Assist with distribution of routine firmwide monthly financial reports as needed.Update Elite Legal Billing Systems (ELBS) with client/matter data changes as needed for routine maintenance, as well as for special projects as assigned.Assist as needed with maintenance and updates of the Data Processing Procedures Manual.Scan/copy email reports as part of back up requests to attorneys, secretaries and other personnel as needed.Act as back up for DTE Time loads to Elite as needed.



REQUIREMENTS:



Education:



High school graduate or equivalent. College-level classes or business school preferred.



Experience:



Prior data entry/processing experience preferred.



Skills:



PC proficient, including familiarity with MS Office Suite and databases. Must be able to operate ten-key numeric keypad with speed and accuracy. Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and multi-task. Demonstrated ability to produce accurate work product and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work with all personnel levels.

Personal computer and other office equ.ipment such as telephone, typewriter, calculator, fax machine, duplicating machine and so on.



Typical Physical Demands:



Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Lifting up to 20 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines. Normal range of hearing and vision.



Typical Mental Demands:



Able to deal with stress associated with fast-paced work environment. Multiple priorities/tasks. Make judgment decisions and adapt to changing work situations. Grasp and apply new ideas. Communicate with various personalities at all levels.



Working Conditions:



Works in a typical office setting. Occasionally called upon to work overtime.
