Data Analyst - Energy Industry
Nuenergen (www.nuenergen.com)is seeking a Data Analyst for it's new White Plains, NY office. NuEnergen is an energy consulting company focused on renewable energy sources. We are a small, fast growing company that will be opening offices throughout the east coast.
Data Analysts are responsible for the day to day collection and tracking of Client, Supplier and Utility information and entering into the NuEnergen Online Dashboard Data Base. Expectations are that the Analyst will have an excellent working relationship with NuEnergen, Clients, Suppliers and Utility contacts in order to expeditiously, gather and reconcile account data. Data Analysts are also expected to follow up on billing discrepancies and other billing errors relating to rebates and improper tax accruals.
ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIESAND DUTIES:
1) Accurate collection and reporting of all Energy related data into the NuEnergen Dashboard in a timely fashion.
2) Generation and maintenance of “Workflow” document to include:
a. Client contact information (Primary and Secondary)
b. Utility contact information (Primary and Secondary)
c. Supplier contact information (Primary and Secondary)
d. All Utility accounts listed (include meters- and rate codes)
e. e. Glossary of relevant terms or codes on bills
f. Detailed processes for collection of billing data
g. Verification of supplier invoices:3) Identification and Resolution of “Out of Trend” Data
a. Resolving incorrect bills
4) Provide Data Assistance to Sales, Business Development, and Client Services to complete projects and reports for customers as requested.
Skills:
·Strong accounting based skills preferred
