Job Description

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE - EDISON TOWNSHIP, Middlesex County. Suburban community of 105,000 seeks an experienced qualified applicant to assume Director of Finance position. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in municipal finance and a Bachelors degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university. The successful candidate must possess a valid certification as a Chief Financial Officer issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, grant application and processing experience, supervisory skills, experience in managing municpal budgets in excess of $50 million and knowledge of statutory requirements. The Director of Finance shall be experienced in all financial operations of the Township including reviewing expenditures for compliance with budget policies, verifying accuracy of processed fiscal actions, estimating revenues and expenditures, monitoring internal financial controls and developing budgeting systems. Knowledge of ADP payroll and Edmunds Financial Software required. Full-benefit package.
