DIRECTOR CORPORATE TAX (JM)
# 1 TAX POSITION
Reporting to VP of Finance
Key Job Responsibilities:
(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following.)
· Responsible for day-to-day operations of tax function.
· Manage relationship with internal affiliates and third party professional consultants.
· Prepare tax provision calculation—for monthly forecast, quarterly and year-end financial statements.
· FAS 109 & FIN 48 reporting including worldwide-deferred taxes, UTBs, and footnote disclosures.
· Review corporate income tax returns—federal and state.
· Respond to tax notices from states.
· Manage state tax audits.
· Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations — federal and state.
· Review of foreign entity information reporting on Forms 5471 & 8858.
· Provide accurate & timely information to external accountants in the tax return preparation process.
· Research and planning projects.
· Manage / perform tax due diligence for acquisitions and determine purchase price allocation.
· Manage tax function and consultants budgets.
· Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
· CPA, Masters in Taxation
· Minimum 5+ years Corporate tax experience (federal, state, consolidated) a must.
· FAS 109 experience
· Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
· Big 4 experience is a strong plus
· FIN 48 experience
· International tax experience is preferred
