Corporate Credit Analyst Please Call (972)-248-8490Description: Our Client a leader in the Telecommunications Industry is looking for a Credit Analyst responsible for the credit management and financial analysis of an assigned accounts receivable portfolio in excess of $100 million dollars. Selected individual will ensure that all shipments are credit approved and are maintained within the customer's credit limit. Review daily credit holds to evaluate whether or not orders can or cannot be released within the defined credit policy. Perform periodic financial analysis and make recommendations for credit limit increases or decreases. Assist the Accounts Receivable Team to resolve Accounts Receivable past due issues within acceptable company levels. Update the credit master files as designated by company policy and provide weekly and monthly reporting as required. Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Monitor credit holds and make necessary customer calls to facilitate the release of orders; Perform analysis on existing credit lines for credit worthiness; Update customer's credit information, request financial statements from customers and order credit reports in order to analyze and justify credit limit exposure; Perform analysis, research and gather information on a new customer's application and work with Senior Credit Analyst to obtain credit insurance. Provide back-up support to others within the Credit and Accounts Receivable Department on an as needed basis; Support and escalate to the Senior AR Analyst any account delinquency issues that require elevation and management attention; Act as point of contact with collection agencies on an as needed basis for account placements and or file insurance claims in association with bad debt AR balances; Prepare monthly analysis reports for upper management, and be able to prepare ad hoc reports periodically. Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Requirements: Qualified candidates will have all of the following capabilities: A Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred, together with 5-8 years credit analysis experience in a strong manufacturing environment and/or telecom industry; Good analytical, interpersonal, communication and time management skills with the ability to work in a team environment; Ability to prepare analysis reports required; Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications including moderate Excel spreadsheet preparation skills operating in an NT LAN/WAN systems environment; Must have experience with Ceridian in addition to experience utilizing SAP R/3 software or experience with a similar size enterprise business management and general ledger system, and data warehousing program experience preferred.
