Corporate Controller-Beltway/Richmond

Our client, a $ 200 million distribution operation in Houston, has an immediate need for a Corporate Controller. Your inventory and accounts receivable experience will be critical to the success of this position. Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing industries is required. The position will have responsibilities in internal financial reporting, cash management, financial reports, budgeting and forecasting.  This role is very hands on, but does have staff and support positions that report up. Our client is owned by a company that is publicly traded, so any experience with SOX requirements is a plus. Candidates should have a BBA in Accounting.  MBA or CPA is preferred. Recent and revelant Controller experience is required. In addition, good working knowledge of ERP systems, queries and MS Office is required.This is a direct hire opportunity. Initial interviews will take place starting August 20th. Interviews with our client will be scheduled the week of August 25th.
