Corporate Controller

•Job Category:Accounting/Finance/Insurance Summary:  You will be responsible for all company and affiliate accounting/ financial reporting for a privately held, consolidated group companies focused on upstream oil and gas, midstream gas, wind power, and oil and gas service businesses, as well as all accounting functions for the private company’s publicly traded oil and gas affiliate.   This will be a high profile position with a lot of career development potential and was created through company growth.  Position:  You will supervise a staff responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions as follows:   Production of monthly, semi-annual, and annual GAAP financial statements, with related footnotes and management discussion and analysis Interpretation and application of all new and existing accounting pronouncements Establishment and maintenance of accounting processes, procedures, and controls Coordinating annual financial statement audits and half-year reviews with outside auditors Monthly financial reporting to management Budgeting, preparation of financial projections, and special projects as requested by senior management Working with lenders, equity partners, investment bankers, and upper management on debt offerings, equity offerings, acquisitions, and divestitures Maintaining debt compliance and ongoing communications with lenders Preparation of Power Point presentations for management, investors, lenders, partners, and industry groups Direct, supervise, train and review accounting staff of five employees, plus supervision of outsourced oil and gas operational accounting functionsRequirements:  You should have 6-10 years of combined experience in public accounting or corporate accounting, an undergraduate in Accounting. CPA preferred with oil and gas experience preferred.  You should have extensive supervisory experience coupled with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communicative skills.
