Job Status: Full Time, Employee Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Education: Bachelor's Degree Job Category: Banking/Real Estate/Mortgage Professionals Contact Information Company: CORESTAFF Services Email: Apply by Email Job Description Corporate Banking- Assistant Vice President Downtown Houston Financial institution is looking for an AVP for their Portfolio Management Group.Intermediate corporate finance professional, supporting investment grade lending business.  Critical function of assessing risk factors associated with a credit and determining appropriate rating based on established policies and guidelines.   Responsible for active credit management of a designated portfolio utilizing solid credit and analytical skills.  Provide continuous oversight of a designated group of portfolio names monitoring for potential upgrading, downgrading and credit deterioration with the goal of maximizing net income and reducing credit costs. Corporate finance professional with solid credit and analytical background. Completion of formal credit-training program at a money center bank preferred. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills are required.  Strong financial modeling skills a must.  4-7 years experience; MBA or CFA 2+ years.
