Corporate Accounting Manager

Our client, a fast growing manufacturing company 15 minutes from Providence and 40 minutes from Boston is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager.
Â
This position will be responsible for managing the financial close and reporting process, implementing improvements to the internal control environment, SOX compliance activity, researching and resolving technical accounting issues (in both GAAP and IFRS) and a variety of other miscellaneous accounting and finance projects, including acquisition and integration related projects. This position will work closely with the Assistant Corporate Controller, Corporate Controller, Worldwide Finance Directors, VP Treasurer, Director of Tax and CFO. Will manage 3-4 Senior Accountants.

Education: BA or BS required. MBA or MS preferred.
Other:Â CPA strongly preferred.
Â
Experience:Â 10 + years of corporate accounting experience, working in a large company environment ($>250 Million in revenue).
