Controller for Residential Real Estate Company
Our Client a residential real estate company in Manhattan is searching for a Controller with strong Yardi knowledge. The company is full service real estate organization that owns and manages 10 residential buildings in New York City.
Responsibilities:
Controller must be very 'hands-on' and will have a small staff to assist.
Reports directly to the Owner.
Heavily involved with: GL, bank reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
Responsible for Intercompany transactions between 10+ entities, tax returns and financial statements.
Payroll, A/R, and A/P.
Involved with overseeing accounting operating procedures, and developing strong overall cash management controls.
Must be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done!
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Accounting 5+ Yrs accounting experience with a real estate operating company Must be proficient in Excel and Yardi Must be a motivated self-starter and attentive to detail
