Controller/Operations

 

CrunchTime! Information Systems (www.crunchtime.com) is experiencing substantial growth and is looking to bring aboard an experienced Controller/Operations Manager to oversee all finance and administration functions of the Company including accounting, human resources, and office management.

 Responsibilities

 

Accounting/Finance

·  Oversee and manage staff accountant

·  Close the books on a monthly basis

·  Provide financial reports to the President on a monthly basis

·  Participate in quarterly board meetings

·  Produce and distribute quarterly updates to shareholders

·  Produce and analyze key financial metrics

·  Manage accounts receivable

 

HR/Recruiting

·  Educate and mentor management team on handling of sensitive employee relations issues

·  General oversight of annual performance and compensation reviews

·  Lead recruiting efforts including mining for, screening, scheduling, and follow-up with all candidates

·  Work with hiring managers to negotiate and extend offers

·  Administer employee benefits including new-hire enrollment, COBRA administration, and annual renewals

·  Execute new-hire orientation(s)

·  Development and oversight of Corporate Giving Program, hosting management/employee seminars, or continuing education programs

·  Plan and oversee all company outings

 

Office Management

·  General office management oversight including, being the project manager for office relocation, act as point person for general building repair/maintenance, and consistently find ways to create a comfortable and energizing work environment

 

 Required Skills

 

· Bachelor’s in accounting, business, or other related field preferred

· 2-5 years experience managing operations for a small company

· Prior management experience a plus

· Excellent Oral/Written Communication Skills

· Ability to multi-task and see tasks through to completion

· Proven Customer Service Skills

· Solid Research Skills

· Positive Attitude

· Superior Organizational Skills

· Ability to work independently as well as in teams

· Strong working knowledge of MS Office Applications

· Ability to work in fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines
