Accounting Manager with great leadership skills that is looking for the next challenge!  If this sounds like you, then please apply.  We are a growing real estate company in need of someone with a  strong knowledge of financial statement preparation as well as the ability to motivate a more junior staff and assist in the company through expansion. 

Responsibilities:

Plan, oversee and perform the daily accounting operations- including g/l, a/r, a/p, monthly closing

Provide leadership to staff through motivation, direction and team leadership

Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the organizations internal/external financial statements

Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Provide tax information to state and local government to maintain compliance

Monitor and improve internal controls as well as develop new systems and methods to support the finance department operations

 

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 6 years of accounting experience in either public/private industry. REAL ESTATE industry experience strongly preferred.  Must have been in a supervisory role for  a min of two years.

BS in Accounting/Finance required, CPA preferred. Excellent analytical and communication skills a MUST.
