Controller - Austin, Texas
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Controller will be responsible for directing and have overall supervisory responsibility for financial and accounting functions of the firm. This management position will be responsible for appraising operating results in terms of costs, budgets, policies of operations and trends; works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors. The Controller will be responsible for developing annual budgets for the department and manages costs to stay within approved budgets; exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. The Controller will supervise a team and is responsible for overseeing the accounting function and work with senior management to strategically guide the company.
Preferred Experience•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with
•General accounting systems including thorough knowledge of computerized
applications.
•Knowledge of CPA with an extensive professional services background where
•Exposure to billing, knowledge of Vision software, systems implementation / migration a plus.
